James offers oil painting classes at the Annex Art Centre. The classes are good for beginner to intermediate levels. They offer a structured session where students are exposed to different exercise and approaches, yet also have an opportunity to work on their own ideas. Projects involve working with still life's, photographs, master works, abstraction and the occasional live model. Although different techniques are explored, individual style is encouraged. The classes are kept small with no more than 10 persons.
Wednesday evenings: 7:00 to 9:30 pm
Saturdays: 3:00 to 5:30 pm
Class size: 10 - $120 per four classes with most materials provided.
